Excluding customers by country

The app allows you to prevent customers from certain countries from adding the product to their cart.

To use this feature, navigate to "Country Excluding" tab and click Enable.

This allows you to set a whitelist or a blacklist for each location individually. For example, you may wish to allow only customers from France to add stock from your French location.

If you enable this feature in isolation without any other settings, it will only display the product as out of stock to the customer who is not allowed to shop the variant based on your rules.

The feature works best when combined with "Hide out of stock locations" and "Disable add to cart if no locations are available" options enabled in the "Display Settings" section of the app.

It's also suggested to enable "Geolocation" for a more precise location estimation.

Limitations

Please note that this feature works only on the product page. It does not change the checkout page since Shopify does not allow app developers to modify it.

If the Geolocation feature is enabled, the app will first try asking your customers to allow browser-based location. If allowed, we'll receive a highly accurate location. If rejected, we fall back to IP-based estimation. While it's usually sufficient, it's not 100% accurate and may not always work with some VPNs.
